Our sweetest girl Novie is a well rounded, ‘proper’ Labrador in every way. Carrying the nature and drive that is ideal for that easy going, yet driven dog. Novie is a keen worker, but is desperate to please you. She’s the dog you never have to correct and is just effortless. Happy to be with you, whatever you’re doing, she’s the perfect companion. On days working in the field she goes from us not knowing she’s there because she is so relaxed and chilled, to a stand out marked retrieve in seconds when you ask her to switch on work mode.

Jake – True Valour of Wildnook
jake is nephew to Berry, who we sadly lost in 2020. She was Chris’ old and faithful, and was his shooting companion through his teenage years and keepering career until she sadly passed. Jake joined us as we knew we needed a part of Berry with us always, and he definitely carries that with him. He’s the most loyal boy, always working with you. So much so that despite being trained for the picking up field only, In his training career, Jake began training in more trial oriented work at four years old, and gained an impressive 5th out of 38 on his first ever working test with minimal preparation! This was something we did for fun and not something we focus on with our dogs but showed just how much he just wants to please and make you happy, while being such an honest dog at every stage.

Thor – Nithvalley Moor King of Wildnook
Brought into the team to trial, Thor really is a special boy. we trained his mum and saw something special in her from day one, knowing straight away that her offspring was to join the Wildnook team one day. Thors drive is like no other. He really does live for training and working.

I had May given to me by my old boss to train up when he first offered me my gundog training position and when it came to selling her, I couldn’t part with her and bought her off him myself. She’s my absolute soul mate. The product of all my mistakes and the reason I love what I do so much. She’s the perfect all rounder – the most chilled out pet, but out in the field her hunting drive and work ethic is second to none! She’s been a great nanny dog to all, and is now our eldest team member.
No breeding plans
May is the oldest of the team so there are no breeding plans for her.
Cantie
Our long awaited next generation of Wildnook Labrador from both our legendary retired stud Jake, and our sweetheart girl Novie. Cantie is young but proving to be more than we’d hoped! It never works that pups seem to take all the good from each parent but so far, so good! Her drive is more than we’d hoped but still keeping that lovely, calm Labrador nature making her an effortless dog to have around.
