We imported Norse (Gull Goldens Norse) from Norway to the UK last year and couldn’t be happier with the dog we have ended up with.
Hes loving and gentle, and loves to work with you and try hard when you ask for it. His structure is exactly what we were hoping for, being a strong male but still with athletic style for working.He works in a team of Gundogs but is also very much a family member and has such a perfect understanding of when to turn on his working brain, and when to be that dog who can come everywhere with ease.

This dog can do no wrong. She looks innocent as ever and will happily sit beside you all day long doing nothing if you so wished. The easiest, happiest little dog you’ve ever met. Nicknamed our ‘Disney’ dog by a Wildnook puppy owner as she really is perfection. Don’t be fooled by the calm nature, when her instincts kick in and the gundog work starts she’s also a star! Again, a dog that is never left at home because she’s just too invaluable to have on a days shooting.
No breeding plans
Idun is not part of our breeding programme sadly due to unsatisfactory health tests that do not comply with our personal breeding standards.
Swinnie
Still a young team member but progressing lovely through her training, she was bred by our friends at Fosterwold Gundogs and therefore we have had the pleasure of watching her mum work plenty in the field alongside us before we brought Swinnie into our family. She’s a very confident and fun girl and lives for her training, loving to show off. We approach her first season in the field soon and we cannot wait to see her development.

Tulsa
Another young member, just being over a year old currently but already showing so much of what we hoped for when we travelled all the way to the USA to collect this exceptional addition to our team and our second imported golden. We imported him with the same intention as with Norse, we believe the UK is much in needed of more diversity in its golden lines and for us, a lot of our preferred stamp lies overseas with stronger bone. His breeder already intended on a low COI for this boy even in the USA and bred with the same goals as ourselves, bred two beautiful and talented dogs and in turn produced us the happiest boy with the keenest drive to please.

Pennie
Pennie came from a bitch we trained and watched grow from pup to outstanding worker with their owner and we knew very early on we would love to add her progeny to the team. Pennie is still young but progressing lovely, she’s one to watch for the grouse for sure as she has no hesitation to hunt hard and at range being confident and determined yet the sweetest soul when not at work.
